2nd pick: #4 (Kenny's Girl) (6-1) - Price play has some early speed and is racing third back from a nine month layoff. She just missed in her return at Santa Anita May 29, but tired in her follow up start while racing between horses. Can contend today.
3rd pick: #7 (Sweet Mz. Poppet) (3-1) - Another with speed, she's racing second back from an 11-month layoff and first off a Pete Miller claim (22%). Trainer has been very busy here the first two days (12-3-1-3), and this 3yo should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #1 (Catalina Bonita) (15-1) - Longshot has the rail and is dropping in class. Filly cost $150K, so there were some expectations early on. She has the rail, and with an alert break she has a shot at a very big price.
5th pick: #6 (Sailor's Cry) (5-1) - Filly is taking a big drop in class, going turf to dirt, and shortening up in distance. She showed a much improved effort last out and must be left in the mix.
