Top pick: #5 (AFFLICATION) (6-1) - Price play was an impressive maiden winner here on July 25th and trainer Tim Yakteen has him conservatively spotted in his first against winners. He's worked twice since and I like his chances.
2nd pick: #8 (Frenemy) (7-2) - Grey coly runs third back off a two month freshening and he finished third last out at this trip when facing a bit better. Bejarano stays put and this 4-year-old is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Seven Bridges) (6-1) - Lightly-raced gelding rallied to finish second here at this tag and distance on Aug. 15. He has some back class on these and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #10 (Hurry Home Clover) (9-2) - He has some early speed but draws a tough outside post to use it from. Capable barn (veteran Bill Spawr) and this lightly-raced gelding is working fast for this.
