Top pick: #10 (HONOR N GRACE) (4-1) - Speedy filly is dropping way down in class while drawing a fine outside post at this 6.5-furlong trip to use it from. Home bred can take this field from gate-to-wire.
nd pick: #2 (Ms. K J) (7-2) - She's been freshened up since missing by a 1/2 length at this tag going six furlongs at Santa Anita May 17. Working steadily for her return, the leading jockey here, Raf Bejarano is back on the re-ride.
rd pick: #5 (Designated Royalty) (6-1) - Lightly raced filly ran very poorly here at this trip for twice this claiming price July 24. She was much sharper in her previous pair and worked a bullet three furlongs here Aug. 17th. Look for a good rebound this afternoon.
th pick: #7 (Quality Chimes) (8-1) - Filly tired badly here July 18, but believe she didn't care for the sloppy surface. She had been showing much better speed prior to that and can factor at a square price.
th pick: #8 (Miss Green Pond) (8-1) - She's raced herself back into shape since coming off almost an 8 1/2 month layoff in late May. Canadian bred has finished 3rd in her last pair and may get another small slice in this spot.
