Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (PARSIMONY) (9-2) - He's had a lot of chances (14), but has been competitive in all six starts on the grass and has placed in two stakes. Stalker is in shape, draws well, and think he can break his maiden in this spot.
nd pick: #12 (Mo Forza) (3-1) - A lightly raced colt by 'Uncle Mo', homed bred has been competitive in all three starts and has defeaated 'Parsimony' in his last pair. He has enough early speed to race close up and is an obvious win candidate.
rd pick: #7 (Succeedandsurpass) (5-1) - One of two Irish imports entered and both are trained by Rich Baltas. Colt raced evenly here in his U.S. debut July 27 and did so following a bobbling break. He wasn't that far off both 'Mo Forza' and 'Parsimony' and has worked fast since. It's of note that John Velazquez, who is in to ride 'Seeking the Soul' in the Pacific Classic (G1) picks up the mount.
th pick: #5 (Ghost Street) (6-1) - Blinkers go on this lightly raced home bred by 'Ghostzapper'. He was only beaten just over a length here at this level and distance July 27 and enters off qa bullet half-mile drill Aug 9.
th pick: #4 (Fivestar Lynch) (10-1) - The second of the Irish imports from the Baltas barn, he was sharp in a pair in his home country before coming to No. America. Colt worked fast here Aug 12 and may get a share at a big price.
