2nd pick: #5 (Leucothea) (3-1) - The other Kentucky invader, she had traffic issues when debuting at Ellis Park July 4. She had a nice spot to strike from but was bothered during the stretch run. Filly was just under 5 lengths behind 'Biddy Duke' that afternoon and gets the addition of both Lasix and blinkers. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Musically) (4-1) - This filly finished a pace-setting second when debuting at Los Alamitos June 29. In her follow up here July 20, she tired while wide racing with blinkers on. The 'hood' comes off and a repeat of her first attempt puts her in this.
