2nd pick: #5 (Contessa B) (5-2) - Freshened up since June 13th, she's taking a big drop in class and switching from turf to "poly." Working well and she won her debut on a similar surface at Keeneland in late April. Win candidate is from a hot barn (Bob Hess Jr.).
3rd pick: #9 (Tiz Zoe Cee) (3-1) - She takes a drop off a 2 1/2 month layoff. Filly has been racing evenly when facing tougher on both grass and dirt and her only win came on the Hollywood "poly" last Nov. She must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #1 (Bobbylouie) (12-1) - She was only a bit more than a length off of "Endurance" last out after hopping at the start. Mare has the rail, early speed, and should be involved most of the way.
5th pick: #7 (Kid Rollins) (10-1) - No-speed type is capable of closing to get a small slice but would need a total pace collapse for anything more than that.
