Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (ASHLEYLUVSSUGAR) (9-5) - He's been extremely consistent and successful since switching to the grass earlier in his career. Veteran is a multiple stakes winner on the turf with an overall record on it of 16-7-3-2 with $1.1M in earnings. He just missed in this stakes a year ago and should win this with his best.
2nd pick: #2 (Hunt) (7-2) - Irish import raced evenly in a G3 stakes July 4 at Santa Anita. It was his first start since Nov. 26 and he should move forward off of it. Trainer Phil D'Amato adds blinkers and that should have him racing closer to the pace.
3rd pick: #3 (Kenjisstorm) (3-1) - He exits the same July 4 race as 'Hunt' and was only a 1/2 length behind him at the finish. Speed/stalker was razor sharp in three straight prior to that and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #5 (Up With the Birds) (15-1) - Longshot was only 2.5 lengths in back of 'Ashleylussugar' May 28 at Santa Anita. No-speed type may grab a minor award with a late charge at a big price.
