2nd pick: #5 (Solar Zone) (5-1) - He's dropping back down in class and switching from grass to dirt. Three-year-old has good early speed and finished a pacesetting third at this tag sprinting at Santa Anita Sept. 30.
3rd pick: #7 (Adir) (3-1) - Freshened up since Aug. 11, he's working both steadily and above average over at San Luis Rey Downs. He rallied to finish second at this tag and trio here July 27, but was not as sharp in his follow up race. Can factor if ready off almost the 100-day break.
4th pick: #2 (Counturluckystars) (8-1) - Longshot is lightly raced and is going second back from a 70 day freshening. He was 10 lengths behind 'Big Bad John' last out, but may grab a share with a step forward.
