3rd pick: #2 (Cayate) (5-1) - He finished second when facing tougher May 20, then raced evenly when breaking poorly at the same level June 11. Working fast, trainer Kristin Mulhall drops him into a claimer for the first time. Dangerous at a square price.
4th pick: #4 (Vegas Vic) (6-1) - Blinkers go on and he's moving up in class. Colt missed by a 1/2 length when debuting against $30K foes July 1. Must be left in the mix despite facing tougher.
