2nd pick: #10 (Noble Hawk) (8-1) - He finished a wide & even 4th at Santa Anita June 23 when dropped down to this tag for the first time. A very positive effort, and he's nearing his best after being away from action for almost seven months.
3rd pick: #1 (Ladie's Man) (8-1) - Lightly raced and speedy, he's dropping back down and breaks from the rail. Longshot has a good chance, especially if the inside is the place to be early in the card.
4th pick: #11 (Papa's Playboy) (6-1) - He enters off a career best June 25 at Santa Anita. Home bred rallied from close range that day to finish 2nd of 10, beaten a 1/2 length racing at this tag & trip. A repeat of it makes him a threat right back.
5th pick: #8 (Inexcess Again) (4-1) - He weakened after showing good early speed when debuting against tougher June 20 at Santa Anita. He could go either way in this spot, as it's a suspicious drop off the fine first outing.
