2nd pick: #3 (Sweetrayofsunshine) (3-1) - The probable favorite, he's won 7 of 13 overall with all but one coming on conventional dirt. Speed/stalker has been freshened up since late June after he was pulled up in a race at Santa Anita. Working fine locally and an obvious threat with his best.
3rd pick: #7 (Grandiose Tactics) (5-2) - One of two entered by trainer Ron Ellis, he's racing for the first time since late June when Ellis claimed him for $32K at Churchill Downs. Working fine here and he won a race on the Presque Isle "poly" on June 9th. In the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Quinette) (12-1) - The second of the Ellis pair, she has eight lifetime wins, but only one has been on a synthetic surface. Fits at the level and distance and she would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
