Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (THERMOPOLIS) (4-1) - He raced both wide and evenly at this level going 6.5 furlongs at Santa Anita June 16. It was his first since Aug. 3 and he should move forward off of it. 4yo gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Big Barrel) (5-1) - Home bred rallied to finish second when debuting in a dirt sprint facing weaker June 16. In a good grass barn (Len Powell), 3yo is working fast and is bred to like the switch to the turf.
3rd pick: #2 (Celturian) (10-1) - NEW gelding tired last out in a bit of a disappointing effort. He had been sharper in his previous pair and can factor at a square price with a repeat of either of those competitive efforts.
4th pick: #3 (Clem Dela Clem) (12-1) - Another NEW gelding, longshot also is racing with blinkers on. Freshened up since May 20, he's in a good barn (Neil Drysdale) and may grab a share at a big price.
