Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (STREET ZOMBIE) (4-1) - Colt moves out in the gate after tiring here at this tag going 6.5 furlongs July 19. It was his second back after seven months on the sidelines and he was claimed that afternoon by Bob Hess Jr. His outside post will give him some better options and I like this 3yos chances.
nd pick: #9 (Captain N. Barron) (6-1) - He's been competitive in five of his last six st this $20K tag and enters off a second-place finish at Los Alamitos July 15. In shape and speed/stalker is a serious player in this spot.
rd pick: #7 (Positive Numbers) (3-1) - NEW gelding has been on the sidelines since Sept. 10. He raced evenly in both starts last summer facing tougher and is working fast for his return.
th pick: #4 (Imagineiamfastest) (5-1) - Sent hard last out, he tired after contesting the pace while between horses for most of the race. He had finished second in his prior pair and is dropping to this $20K tag for the first time. Gelding could factor with a less stressful trip.
th pick: #8 (Wild Wild Kingdom) (15-1) - Speedy gelding has tired badly in both starts. He was involved in a pace duel here last out in his first race in 3.5 months and first for trainer Peter Miller. He may be in this every step at a big price from the leading trainer.
