Top pick: #1 (LAKE BELIEVE) - Speedy and lightly raced, she's been freshened up since a wire-to-wire win running for $16K at Hollywood Park June 3. Working well for her return and she draws the rail, and is the main speed. The top pick, and at a nice price.
2nd pick: #5 (Vikkilee) - One-run type is racing back into shape following a long layoff and has been competitive in five of her six starts since returning to action in early Feb. at Santa Anita. If the rail runner doesn't last turning for home, this 5-year-old has a good shot at running them down late.
3rd pick: #4 (Monica C C) - Claimed in early April at Golden Gate for $12.5K, mare finished third three weeks later in her first start for trainer Bill Spawr. On the sidelines for the past three months, she's working steadily for her return and has run well on this surface in the past. Should be competitive again today.
