Top pick: #6 (TEAMWORK) - Sophomore runner by "Bertrando" finished a close-up second at this level going six furlongs on June 27. Colt shortens-up a furlong for this and will be making his third start back off a seven-week freshening earlier this year. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Going Forward) - Fast, in-shape, likes to win (five for 10), and he draws the hedge. Only question is his ability to transform all that talent to the turf in his first appearance on it. Could prove very tough to catch.
3rd pick: #7 (Bruce's Dream) - Well-bet in his bow last October at Santa Anita, gelding did not disappoint with a very professional stalking win on the Poly. Working fast for his return off the long rest and he could be a very talented runner.
