Top pick: #6 (SPACE RUNNER) (5-2) - Gelding has gone 4-2-2-0 so far, and was claimed last out for the third straight time. He runs today off a Vann Belvoir pick on June 30th for $8K and 3-year-old was an easy winner that day on the Plesanton Fair dirt and will double up in price and move back to a synthetic surface.
2nd pick: #2 (Manewal) (4-1) - Well-bred gelding chased and tired facing tougher at Golden Gate Fields on June 9th in his first back off an eight week freshening. He's trained fast since and will be dropping to a new low in price this afternoon.
3rd pick: #4 (Luz Atticus) (2-1) - Gelding just missed at this tag and trip at Hollywood on May 9th and earned the highest "figure" any of these has ever run. Speed/stalker is an obvious factor with a repeat of that run.
4th pick: #7 (Billy Win) (5-1) - "Billy" has been sharp in all his starts (3-2-0-1), and has shown good early speed and gameness in each of those. Lightly-raced 3-year-old draws outside of the other pace and can impact today with his normal effort.
