It was his first since winning the $20,000,000 Saudi Cup (Group 1) Feb. 29 and first off a private trainer change to Bob Baffert. Think he'll be much sharper today.
2nd pick: #4 (Dark Vader) (8-1) - This 5yo is working extremely fast here since winning at a mile over weaker July 25. He has plenty of early speed and in this small field, he's dangerous at an expected big price.
3rd pick: #1 (Midcourt) (7-2) - He missed by a 'nose' here to 'Maximum Security' July 25 and is 10-5-2-2 since coming off a long layoff in late Feb. of 2019. Speed/stalker has the rail and must be left in the mix.
