Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (LADYPRANCEALOT) (3-1) - This Irish import came up a bit short when finishing 4th, missing by just under two lengths here in a G2 going 8.5 furlongs on Aug. 8. A multiple 'Graded' stakes winner, she won the American Oaks (G1) here at this distance Dec. 28, and I like that leading rider Rispoli is aboard for the first time.
2nd pick: #8 (Raymundo's Secret) (2-1) - A very lightly raced 4yo, she's won four of six, has a speed/stalking style, and she moves back up in class after a gritty score here going a mile facing weaker Aug. 14. That victory came off a 9.5-month layoff, and she should be much fitter for this stakes attempt.
3rd pick: #5 (Zee Drop) (8-1) - A 4yo daughter of 'Lemon Drop Kid,' she was only a length in back of 'Raymundo's Secret' here Aug. 14 in her first back after a two-month break. She's worked twice since Aug. 23 and is capable of factoring today at a big price with some improvement.
4th pick: #7 (Quick) (6-1) - A 'long-winded' English import, she's gone 5-1-2-2 since coming to No. America, and she has a flexible style. She's cutting back in distance, and I believe she'll need to come from well off the pace, which may limit her to a minor award.
