It was an improvement over his debut July 26, and he had some traffic issues at the 3/8th's pole. $725K purchase worked a bullet half-mile Sept. 3rd and draws a nice post for this distance.
2nd pick: #5 (Action Hero) (6-1) - Price play has some fine works showing for his first start since May 7. Krikorian home bred has a new trainer (Tim Yakteen), he switches this son of 'Street Cry' from turf to dirt, and adds blinkers.
3rd pick: #6 (Statesman) (5-2) - One of four making their debuts, home bred by 'Candy Ride' has some very quick a.m. drills on view, and leading rider Raf Bejarano is aboard.
4th pick: #3 (Da Genius) (15-1) - He showed some promise during the summer of 2014 at Saratoga, but has not run well at all in a pair of starts since coming back from a long layoff. Another that's working fast, he has blinkers added and may do some damage at a big price.
