2nd pick: #2 (Remesses) (7-2) - Another that cost some bucks ($240,000), he finished a pace-setting second here facing a bit weaker Aug. 6. In the barn of Bob Baffert, colt is clearly improving and he breaks just off the rail. Four-year-old by 'Pioneer of the Nile' should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #8 (Hard Arch) (5-1) - He's finished second in two of his last three facing just a bit tougher and he had a solid excuse in his other attempt. The tag and trip are fine with him and he must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #3 (Big Day Tomorrow) (6-1) - Very lightly-raced son of 'Big Brown' rallied to finish second here at this tag and trip Aug. 17. It was his first in blinkers and a career best of his three attempts. Barn brings him back in 15 days and he can factor at a square price with some improvement.
