Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (DIABLO CABALLERO) (2-1) - He was a 'winner' at Santa Anita racing at this level and distance Oct. 12th, but was disqualified and placed 3rd. 4yo by 'Tribal Rule' had been competitive a number of times prior to that and enters off a pair of sharp recent works. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Cool Green) (3-1) - Very lightly raced, he was just under two lengths in back of 'Diablo Caballero' last out and had some late traffic issues. Working nicely, he draws well in this small field, and he has lots of room for possible up-side.
3rd pick: #3 (Son of a Royal) (5-1) - Unraced since May 1, he returns a NEW gelding. 3yo by 'Bertrando' has been competitive several times racing on 'poly' surfaces and is trying conventional dirt for the first time. A threat if ready.
