Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (CYCLONE BETTY) (7-2) - Lightly raced filly set a quick and pressured pace while holding down the 2nd spot Oct. 27th at Santa Anita. It was her first in over two months and shows that she's on the upswing. She gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Yavrig) (5-1) - She finished an even and disappointing 4th here at this tag going a mile Nov. 18th. 3yo had finished 2nd in three of four prior to that and has done so in two of three at this trip.
3rd pick: #5 (Djibouti) (4-1) - Following a slow break, she was never involved when debuting here in a grass sprint facing much tougher Aug. 24th. Breeder/owner/trainer Janet Armstrong drops her way down in class and is switching her to the dirt.
4th pick: #6 (Really a Gem) (8-1) - Filly finished 4th last out, but was only 1.5 lengths behind 'Cyclone Betty.' Capable of getting a share, but she seems to 'hang' in the final furlong.
