Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (BELLAZANO) (4-1) - This $140,000 purchase has been freshened up since finishing third going 7 furlongs for a $50K tag April 30 at Churchill Downs. She's worked twice locally with both drills well above average and drops down a bit to a new low in price ($40K). I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #8 (Tandalicious) (9-2) - A very lightly raced 4yo by 'Lemon Drop Kid', she hasn't raced since Sept. 28 when beaten by 8 lengths in a 6.5 furlong turf race at Santa Anita for a $50K tag. She's had a half-dozen published works since June 22 and is dropping to a new low while switching back to the dirt. Home bred can impact if ready.
3rd pick: #5 (Vangogo) (3-1) - The probable speed of this group, she's cutting back in distance after finishing a distant second going a mile at Los Al July 6. In a claimer for the first time, she's a threat to lead this group from gate-to-wire.
4th pick: #2 (So Much Happy) (8-1) - Filly has been freshened up since tiring in a one mile turf contest facing $50K claimers June 15. He three works this month are all well above average and she still has plenty of room for upside.
