Top pick: #6 (OAK KYE WHY) - Very impressive in winning his debut on July 5 at Hollywood and he did it for a trainer (James Cassidy) that rarely has them "fully cranked" first time out. He won that day despite breaking a bit late and the second finisher won next out. Draws a nice outside post for this 6.5 furlong trip and is the choice to make it two in a row.
2nd pick: #2 (Connagher) - He went wire-to-wire last out in his second lifetime start and did so in very good time. Field was large and the well-beaten third place finisher won back out of it. This field doesn't have a lot of early speed and that makes him dangerous in his first facing winners.
