Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (SUPER STEED) (7-2) - I don't normally endorse maidens against winners, but this colt was only beaten a 'head' by 'Boldor' who will most likely be the favorite in this contest. It was a sharp debut for this son of 'Super Saver' and he's come back with a fast work Nov. 19. He gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #10 (Boldor) (2-1) - As mentioned in the write-up for 'Super Steed,' he defeated that rival by a 'head' when debuting at Keeneland Oct. 25. This colt sold for $700,000 as a 2yo in training this past April and trainer Steve Asmussen had worked him here three times since.
3rd pick: #7 (Six Shooter) (10-1) - He was a very sharp maiden winner Oct. 17 at Indiana Grand Raceway as he won by almost 7 lengths while completing the 6 furlongs in a swift 1:10.20. Sent here, he had a wide trip when finishing 3rd at this level going 7 furlongs Nov. 10. Stretch threat.
4th pick: #3 (Distant Shore) (7-2) - He's shortening up in distance after a 3rd place finish here in a $100K stakes at a mile Nov. 2. Extremely wide that day, he's worked fast since and has been sharp in both previous sprint attempts. In the mix.
