Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (CENTER AISLE) (8-5) - Reported to be talented before her debut, this $1,500,000 daughter of 'Into Mischief' made her first appearance March 29. Going six furlongs at Gulfstream facing 11 rivals, she was bet down to 7-10 favoritism and won 'geared down' by almost four lengths in 1:10 flat. In the barn of Chad Brown, this 3yo has worked a half-dozen times since April 12 and gets top billing.
2nd pick: #6 (Casual) (3-1) - She was a 1/2-length debut winner at this distance on April 11 at Oaklawn Park. A home-bred by 'Curlin', she looked very professional and earned a bit higher figure than 'Center Aisle' as she completed the trip in a swift 1:09.20. In the Asmussen barn, she's worked four times since April 25 for this attempt.
3rd pick: #7 (Nayibeth) (10-1) - She's made three starts, one each on dirt, grass, and 'poly with her win coming on the main track when debuting at Keeneland on April 17 of 2019. Working fast for her first since finishing 2nd at Turfway Park March 6, I believe she has the best chance of springing an upset on the top two selections.
4th pick: #3 (Recoded) (15-1) - Longshot is well-bred and is facing winners for the first time. She broke her maiden at this distance on April 25 at Tampa Bay Downs and may grab a minor award at a big price if the pace is fast and/or contested.
