Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (JELLICLE BALL) (2-1) - She's one of three Irish bred imports and was Group 3 placed in England in April of 2015. Filly just missed at Gulfstream facing weaker racing off a six-month layoff March 6. In her follow up start at Keeneland April 17, she had some serious traffic issues in the large field (12). Good barn (Graham Motion) brings her back quickly and 4-year-old can win this with a clean break and trip.
2nd pick: #9 (Goodyearforroses) (5-1) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old is another of the Irish imports. Strong finisher rallied to check in fourth of 12 going a bit longer at this level April 9 at Keeneland. She's worked since and is a serious threat.
3rd pick: #3 (Runner Runner) (4-1) - Away since early December, Irish bred showed nothing on a sloppy surface in her first ever on dirt. Competitive in all three grass starts on the NYRA circuit prior to that, she has more natural gate speed than most and is a strong factor on the front end if ready off the five month absence.
4th pick: #10 (B Rockett) (6-1) - Another stretch runner, she fits with her best but will need to try and avoid a wide trip for anything more than a minor award. She's racing second back from almost a five-month break and rallied to finish third at this level and distance April 17 at Keeneland.
