Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (SAY MOI) (3-1) - This $300,000 daughter of 'Union Rags' finished a solid 2nd of 12, beaten by 3.5 lengths when debuting at this level and distance March 29 at Gulfstream Park. She's worked three times at Payson Park before shipping here, and I give her a slight edge.
nd pick: #12 (Stonewood) (6-1) - Freshened up since Feb. 16, this daughter of 'Speightstown' set a quick and pressured pace before tiring late to miss by almost two lengths when debuting at this level and distance at Gulfstream. Working both fast and frequently at Keeneland for this attempt, she's a win candidate.
rd pick: #1 (Golden Star Lady) (10-1) - Longshot has good early speed and an inside post to use it from. This $300,000 filly by 'Candy Ride' is working fast at Keeneland and hails from the high percentage barn of Wesley Ward. I think she's dangerous at a big price.
th pick: #11 (Bernadette the Jet) (6-1) - A daughter of 'American Pharoah,' she's been on the sidelines since Aug. 15 when she missed by a 'head' at this level and distance at Laurel. Prepared for her return at the Fair Hill Center in Maryland, this $425,000 purchase has Joel Rosario aboard in her come-backer.
th pick: #2 (Skinny Dip) (5-1) - Another expensive ($400,000) purchase, this filly by 'Into Mischief' finished 2nd when debuting at this distance Feb. 2 at Gulfstream. In her follow up there March 1, she tired after 'hitting the gate' at the break, which caused her to rush up to be near the leaders. In the mix.
