Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (VREELAND) (3-1) - He's dropping in class and has early speed. Home bred colt tired late Oct. 28th facing tougher at Keeneland, and he had to race very wide that afternoon. He meets a weak field and should break his maiden in this spot.
2nd pick: #5 (Brunertown) (7-2) - NEW gelding is dropping in class, switches from grass to dirt, and has blinkers added. Freshened up for just over two months, gelding by 'Hansen' is a strong factor with all the changes.
3rd pick: #1 (Green Card) (5-1) - Gelding ships in from Indiana Downs where he finished a distant 2nd at this tag going 5.5 furlongs Oct. 14th. He's worked three times since and breaks from a ground saving inside post. Can factor, but believe he needs to step it up a bit.
4th pick: #4 (Cowboy Quinn) (8-1) - From a capable barn (Phil Sims), he drops him way down in class, and is adding blinkers. He showed little when debuting for a $50K tag going seven furlongs at Keeneland Oct. 19th. May grab a minor award at a square price.
