Top pick: #4 (ALWAYS KITTEN) - Home-bred by "Kitten's Joy" broke her maiden when winning a $100K stakes at Louisiana Downs on Sept. 8, but tired while racing wide on Oct. 11 at Keeneland in a G3 stakes in her follow-up start. She faces a much weaker group this afternoon and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (I'm Already Sexy) - She looked like a different horse when breaking her maiden at Keeneland on Oct. 5 going 6.5 furlongs on the "poly" after showing virtually nothing in her Arlington debut in late August. Trainer Mike Maker moves her to the grass and stretches her out in distance as she tries winners for the first time.
3rd pick: #8 (Noun) - Daughter of "War Fromnt" has run well in all three grass appearances and is only one of three who has a win at this mile trip in the past. Win candidate.
4th pick: #10 (Miss Clark County) - She rallied from close range to be an easy winner when debuting in a Keeneland sprint Oct. 21. Trainer Merrill Scherer moves her to the turf and sends her longer today and this filly is by turf champ "English Channel." The post hurts her chances, but she must be left in the mix.
