Six-year-old was competitive this past winter in four straight starts at the Fair Grounds and is nicely spotted in this low-level starter-allowance.
2nd pick: #7 (Paden) (4-1) - He's won two of his last four and scored here in late November. Stretch runner is well placed by his connections and he's won five of 12 at Churchill in the past while one of 14 elsewhere.
3rd pick: #10 (Bluegrass Road) (5-1) - No-speed type rallied to win at this level going two-turns at Keeneland April 14. He's a NEW gelding since then and should like this one-turn mile. The faster the pace, the better his prospects.
4th pick: #9 (Bel Air Bullet) (12-1) - Six-year-old exits the same April 14 race at Keeneland won by 'Bluegrass Road.' He had a troubled break and encountered some other traffic while being a bit hard to handle. Look for a competitive effort at a big price.
