2nd pick: #13 (Teddy B) (8-1) - Colt was never involved after breaking slowly when debuting on the Ellis Park turf going a mile facing special weights Sept. 4. He's worked five times since and is taking a big drop in class. switches to the dirt, and shortens up in distance.
3rd pick: #11 (Time Step) (6-1) - Debuting colt has been in steady training since early August. Initially prepared at Arlington Park, trainer Mike Stidham (19% first out) has had him working locally for the past month. Dangerous if ready.
4th pick: #10 (Chopsticks) (6-1) - Another making his debut, home bred has been working steadily since early August. Colt by 'Lookin At Lucky' is from a good barn (Mike Maker)and need not be anything special to factor against this group.
