Top pick: #6 (ELUSIVE ACT) (3-1) - Well-bred filly has been competitive in all three dirt starts facing tougher and trainer Mike Stidham will drop her into a claimer for the first time. She has a speed/stalking style and when last in action she finished 5th of 10, beaten 4 1/2 lengths at the Fair Grounds on March 30th facing special weight foes. $100K yearling by "Elusive Quality" has a nice local half-mile breeze a week ago and is the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #7 (Ginny's Grey) (5-2) - The probable favorite, filly has been competitive in all four dirt sprints and each came racing for a $50K tag. One-run type drops to a new low today and trainer Tom Proctor had her work twice on this strip since arriving from Gulfstream.

3rd pick: #9 (Hillary D) (7-2) - I believe this one-paced type would need a fast/and or contested pace for anything more than a minor award. She drops to a new low, goes "poly" to dirt, and cuts back in distance. In the mix.

4th pick: #5 (Lucky Flo) (8-1) - Debuting filly trained fast at the Fair Grounds but trainer Tim Glyshaw elected to wait until the Churchill meet to enter her. She's worked three times locally since shipping from New Orleans, and a fine half-mile gate breeze on the April 15th indicates she's ready to go.
