Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (CHAPS) (4-1) - Speedy colt was sent hard from the rail and tired readily after setting a quick and pressured pace Oct. 18 at Keeneland. It was his first start since a useful debut Feb. 3 at Gulfstream and he came back with a quick half-mile breeze Oct. 28. He gets top billing.
nd pick: #3 (Leinster) (5-1) - Competitive in 5-of-7 sprints at this level, he's been on the sidelines since a poor effort at Saratoga Aug. 30. Stalker is working steadily and had a bullet half-mile breeze here Oct. 9. Colt has positive 'off' track experience and is a threat at a square price.
rd pick: #7 (Commanding Candy) (6-1) - Well bred colt ships in from Indiana Downs where he rallied to finish third when debuting in a turf sprint Sept. 18. Bet down to 3-2, he's switching to the dirt for trainer Dallas Stewart and 3yo worked a bullet half-mile here on a sloppy track Oct. 14.
th pick: #11 (Cardiac Kitten) (5-1) - Debuting colt by 'Kitten's Joy' has some sharp works showing at Keeneland and is in a fine first out barn of Wesley Ward (30%). He scratched #5 'Measure Twice' who would have been favored and that allowed this colt to get in from the also-eligible list.
th pick: #1 (J P's Pride) (4-1) - $430,000 son of 'Arch' is working fast here for his first since debuting at Churchill 11 months ago. Very wide that day going 7 furlongs, he has the rail and enters off a bullet 5 furlongs here on a track labeled Good Oct. 26. Dangerous if ready.
