Top pick: #1 (NORTHERN PRINCE) - Freshened-up for the past seven weeks after not having a break for six months. Son of "Northern Afleet" is training sharply on the local surface and draws the ground-saving rail this afternoon. Can win this form just off the place. His trainer (Steve Margolis) is very good off of short layoff (23%).
2nd pick: #6 (Brother Keith) - Colt from the Bob Frankel barn was also entered on yesterday's card and as of press time, his conections hadn't decided where he would run. Three-year-old broke his maiden on this surface last fall in his debut and hasn't raced on real dirt again until now.
3rd pick: #3 (Glenwood Canyon.) - Four-year-old broke his maiden on Feb. 24 at the Fair Grounds and has been on the sidelines since. In an underrated barn (Al Stall) and gelding could just now be finding himself.
