2nd pick: #9 (Blame the Cake) (5-1) - A $160K son of 'Blame,' he ships from Tampa Bay Downs where he finished 3rd as the favorite when going seven furlongs April 22. It was his first start in eight months, and he should be much sharper in his second back off the long absence.
3rd pick: #7 (Fugitive) (10-1) - Gulfstream shipper tired there after pressing a quick pace when traveling seven furlongs on April 25. He was competitive in his first pair there, draws a better post today, and I think he can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #12 (League of Legends) (8-1) - Ignored (75-1) when debuting at Oaklawn Park April 11, he rallied while very wide to finish 2nd of 12, beaten by 6.5 lengths. The colt received a fast pace to close into that day and is in the mix today at greatly reduced odds.
5th pick: #1 (Belfast Boy) (15-1) - Longshot cuts back in distance after missing by five lengths when going 8.5 furlongs on April 25 at Oaklawn. He's worked fast twice since, has blinkers on, and may get a slice of this at a big price.
