Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (SWEET CAROLINA) (4-1) - A lightly raced 4yo daughter of 'Candy Ride,' she ships in from Will Rogers Downs in Oklahoma where she rallied to finish 2nd going 5.5 furlongs in a first-level allowance May 12. She's gone 4-1-3-0 on the dirt, is stretching out in distance, and I give her top billing.
2nd pick: #6 (Addison) (7-2) - This daughter of 'Shackleford' stretches out a bit after finishing 2nd here at this $30K tag when going a one-turn mile May 21. She has a stalking style, and I like that Dale Romans brings her back on a three-week turnaround.
3rd pick: #5 (C'Est Mardi) (10-1) - This longshot was a good-looking maiden winner going a mile at Oaklawn Park April 9. This well-bred filly is lightly raced, is headed in the right direction, and the 4yo by 'Tiznow' is capable of factoring at a square price.
4th pick: #4 (Lemon Chill) (2-1) - She's been idle since the late Summer/early Fall when she was competitive in four straight facing tougher. Working steadily for her first since Nov. 6, she's in a claimer today, and this 4yo is very dangerous if ready.
