Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (NEW RULES) (6-1) - Price play is working very fast here for her first since March 24. She raced evenly that day following a slow start in a Gulfstream grass sprint, but had shown ability in her previous there on the dirt at this level and distance Feb. 2. I like her chances.
nd pick: #8 (Vomba) (7-2) - The probable favorite, she's been idle since finishing a pace-setting third here at this level and distance Nov. 22. She's breezed six times since March 8, the latest a very quick half-mile here April 27.
rd pick: #3 (Shilah Baby) (9-2) - Grey filly missed by a 'neck' at his level and distance March 24 at Oaklawn Park. However, in her follow up there April 12, she tired to check in a distant third as the 6-5 favorite. 3yo worked fast here April 29 and must be left in the mix.
th pick: #11 (Aymara) (8-1) - Blinkers go on daughter of 'Speightstown' who is switching from grass to dirt while shortening up in distance. Very wide from an outside post when debuting in an 8.5 furlong contest on the Gulfstream lawn March 30, she's a threat at a square price.
th pick: #13 (Barracuda) (12-1) - One of six making their debuts, she was training fast in California before shipping east. In a winning barn (Peter Miller) he has Luis Saez aboard first out.
