Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (NEW COLOSSUS) (5-2) - He's finished second here in two straight, one at 7 furlongs Sept. 22 and the other going a mile Nov. 1. The beaten favorite in both, speed/stalker should be able to get his maiden win in today's finale.
2nd pick: #9 (Laser Loop) (6-1) - NEW gelding tired sprinting Oct. 18 at Keeneland in his first start in 6 months. Beautifully bred 3yo has worked since stretches out in distance and has a fine outside post. Think he can factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #8 (Presidential Tweet) (4-1) - Whitney home-bred raced evenly when debuting Oct.18 at Keeneland. He's worked fast in two of three drills since then and should like today's longer distance. In the mix.
4th pick: #1 (Franknjymme) (5-1) - He was 5.5 lengths behind 'New Colossus' Sept. 22 but it was his first race since debuting March 2 at Turfway Park. He raced evenly in his follow up Oct. 18 and was only a length in back of 'Presidential Bid'. He has a tricky inside post but can factor with a trouble-free beginning.
