She's won four of five at Churchill in the past and is pretty much the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Horologist) (5-1) - This New Jersey bred filly enters off a career-best effort July 18 at Monmouth Park. She stalked the pace from an outside post (10 of 10), made a strong bid to reach the front, then drew off to win the G3 Molly Pitcher by 2 lengths. The 4yo earned her first triple-digit figure, has a ground saving post, and can factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #2 (Vexatious) (4-1) - This veteran mare finished two lengths behind 'Monomoy Girl' traveling a mile at Belmont July 11 in the G2 Ruffian Stakes. In her follow up at Saratoga, she became a G1 winner when she held off heavy favorite 'Midnight Bisou,' by a 'neck' in the nine furlong Personal Ensign Aug. 1. In career best form, mare by 'Giant's Causeway' is a threat from close range.
