Top pick: #9 (BULLSBAY) - He ran evenly in the recent "Breeder's Cup Dirt Mile" (G1) and believe he's just not the same horse on artificial surfaces. He's three for four here, likes this distance (8-2-2-2-) and hasn't run a sub-par race on real dirt in over a year. The pick in an excellent betting race. Might be nice to box him in exactas with the other selections as a wagering suggestion.
2nd pick: #2 (Macho Again) - Always seems to save his best for these big spots and this is one of his favorite tracks (5-3-1-0) and colt loves this nine-furlong trip (8-3-3-0). Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Blame) - Three-year-old has done little wrong in his career (7-4-1-2) and has been nicely managed by a great small barn (Al Stall Jr.). Working well and he's at his best distance (3-2-1-0). Contender.
4th pick: #3 (Giant Oak) - Three-year-old has been freshened-up since finishing a close second in the Indiana Derby (G2) on October 3. Working very fast on the local surface and think he'll run well.
5th pick: #1 (You and I Forever) - Working well, draws the rail, and he has positional speed. His trainer (Marty Wolfson) specializes in winning big races and this runner may do quite well in here at a very big price.
