Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (NY TRAFFIC) (6-1) - New York-bred colt has been freshened up since finishing a strong 2nd in the Louisiana Derby (G2) at the Fair Grounds March 21. Speed/stalker is working fast, and I think he'll be tough at a square price.
2nd pick: #7 (Necker Island) (12-1) - This son of 'Hard Spun' is one of two entered who has won at Churchill in the past, and he's a perfect two-for-two here. The colt has a flexible style, and I believe he'll be competitive at a big price.
3rd pick: #2 (Pneumatic) (4-1) - A home-bred by 'Uncle Mo,' he's won both starts to date, each at Oaklawn Park. From the Asmussen barn, the colt has over-come some negatives in each, and his inside post should lead to a ground-saving trip. In the mix.
4th pick: #10 (Maxfield) (3-1) - He won both starts last Fall including a sharp 5.5-length win in Keeneland's Breeders' Futurity (G1) at this distance Oct. 5. Training fast, he's the morning line and probable favorite, and is an obvious win candidate if ready.
