It was his second start back following a long layoff and he won a sprint here in his return to action Sept. 23. He has a ground-saving post and will be tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #5 (Altito) (8-1) - Longshot moves up in class following a series of strong starts on the dirt facing weaker. He's gone 8-4-2-0 at Churchill and veteran loves this distance 17-6-2-3. Think he's a factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #3 (Nun the Less) (9-2) - He's won two in a row out of town, one each at Indiana Grand Raceway and Mahoning Valley. The 6yo earned a huge figure last out and is far too sharp to ignore.
4th pick: #2 (Finglas) (10-1) - His latest start in the Breeders' Cup Marathon (G2) here Nov. 2 is a toss as he was in very deep that day and never involved. Competitive in 5 straight prior to that, he's in a much better spot and loves this distance 5-2-2-1.
