Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (HONOR THY FATHER) (7-2) - Once promising colt is cutting back in distance and dropping to a new low. Even-paced type is nicely spotted by trainer Ken McPeek and 3-year-old enters off a pair of very fast recent drills. I like his chances.
2nd pick: #8 (Start a War) (4-1) - Speed/stalker finished second here at this level going 6 furlongs Sept. 22. Competitive in half of his ten starts this year, he's done most of his best work locally. Four-year-old should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #4 (Cataroux) (5-1) - He was very wide last out when finishing an even fourth at this tag going six furlongs at Keeneland Oct. 11. Well bred 4-year-old had finished second in two of three prior to that and is capable at a square price.
4th pick: #11 (Kiss My Note) (9-2) - Freshened up since Aug. 12, speedy 3yo has an apprentice aboard and is dropping 8 lbs. He'll be sent hard at the break and is capable of grabbing a share if able to clear off without a challenge.
