Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (KING OF THE COURT) (5-2) - Veteran enters off an easy 10-length win here at this level going six furlongs July 1. It earned him his best figure since late April of 2019 at Oaklawn Park (12 starts ago) and came in his second following a Bob Diodoro claim. The 5yo stalker draws a great post, and he'll be tough to beat in this spot.
2nd pick: #4 (Hot Shot Kid) (2-1) - Old-timer is one of two entered by Mac Robertson, and this Minnesota-bred has won 13 of 27 on the dirt. A multiple stakes winner here on both dirt and turf, he has a flexible style and is a threat with his best.
3rd pick: #5 (Richiesgotswagger) (5-1) - This speedy sort is the second of the pair from trainer Robertson. Freshened up since a 4th place finish at Oaklawn Park April 25. That start was his first since Nov. 29 when he was winning his second in a row at Hawthorne. His early speed makes him a bit interesting, but he's below the top two selections in figures.
4th pick: #3 (Always) (4-1) - No speed type ships up from Lone Star Park where he rallied from far back to miss by just over two lengths when facing tougher May 24. He's a perfect three for three at this trip and is a late threat if the pace is fast and/or contested.
