(# 4) BRISCO AND LOGAN - Colt by Officer ran big race from bad post in first try around two turns. That also represented initial race in Florida and first start with blinkers. Moves from post 11 to post 3 and has a very sharp half mile work since that effort. Think he'll run quite well today. Colt worked well at Belmont for trainer Bob Barbara before racing greenly in debut try. Also took some money at the windows in that particular race.

(# 2) Devil in Space - Continues to show visible improvement with each start. Draws well for his style and think another good try is in him.

(# 8) Singapore Swing - Hails from the Mary Lou Whitney Stable. Has a couple of sprint tries to date, one in slop at Churchill, yet other right here at Calder where he broke slowly yet still finished 5th of 12 runners. Horse worked well in Kentucky before starting and has good 6 furlong drill since last race.
