(# 7) COASTAL EMPIRE - Four-year-old has been running well on both turf and dirt. Returns to the main track today after a trio of grass sprints. Has a record on dirt of(11-0-5-2), so the surface is fine.

(# 2) Ginger Fizz - Freshened up since mid-August, he's training well for the return. Should bring some speed to the race.

(# 3) Sharper Image - Hasn't been seen in 18 months. Published work tab is light. With a good trainer in Fawkes he may run well.

(# 6) Pizzi's Image - First start since mid-March. With his third trainer (Mike Jablow), he fits well if ready, but that's a big if at this stage.
