(# 11) Paula's Pilates - Filly has been competitive for most of this season against a bit better competition. Gets a bit of class relief here as trainer Norm Pointer drops her down to the lowest level she has run. Post is a tricky one, but if she can negotiate a good journey she can win this.

(# 7) Wizard's Glass - Broke her maiden in last for at 1 1/16miles on August 17. Trainer switch to Larry Pilotti since the win. Figures are clearly improving and she's lightly raced so more forward movement is possible.

(# 5) No Pussycat - Looks like she has the best early speed. Stretches out to a distance on dirt for the first time, and she will be in front as far as she can go.

(# 2) Snappy Blue - Has some fair tries to her credit, but most came sprinting. Has no speed, but may sit a good ground-saving trip before trying to bid around the far turn.
