Top pick: #9 (RUTHERIENNE) - Filly is three-for-three on this Calder turf and she's a bit of a 1 1/8th mile specialist. Freshened-up for several months, that scenario has produced a pair of stakes wins the last time trainer Chris Clement gave her some time off. She's beaten better fields than this in the past and she's the choice for the win.
2nd pick: #6 (Wild Promises) - She's won five of her last six and with the majority of them coming in stakes. Turf record is great and she's the main danger.
3rd pick: #4 (Callwood Dancer) - Has a nice early gear and she looks like the horse that will set the pace. Could hang around a long time.
4th pick: #2 (Jeux de Danse) - Speedy filly is undefeated on this turf course, though they have come against weaker. Has good speed and an inside post to utilize it from. Like almost all arrivals to his barn, trainer Marty Wolfson has improved this veteran.
