Top pick: #4 (GRANDEUR) - Quality Irish-import rallied from far back to win the (G20 Twilight Derby at Santa Anita on Nov 2nd in his first North American appearance. He was improving noticeably in England before coming here and he's already proven himself at this 10 furlong trip (5-2-1-1).
2nd pick: #3 (UnbridledCommand) - New York-bred comes west and gets a class test after winning four in a row, including a Gutsy" win over "open" fows at Saratoga Sep 2nd in the (G3) Saranac. He has excellent early speed and where this race starts on the turn he may go right to the front. Dangerous rival.
3rd pick: #11 (Speaking of Which) - Very lightly raced(5-2-2-1) he just missed last out to "Grandeur" in his North American debut. Highly thought of by trainer Dermot Weld and an obvious win candidate, though this outside post hurts a bit.
4th pick: #9 (My Best Brother) - He has excellent early speed and is two for three on this surface He wasn't far off "Grandeur" and "Which" last out and he had a terrible start. Price play.
